The Complete Works of Ralph Waldo Emerson - by R.W. Emerson Institute, Jim Manley, Director -

We Need Your Help.

Become a Supporting Member of The Ralph Waldo Emerson Institute.  Have greater influence on and help grow our RWE community. and the Ralph Waldo Emerson Institute are here to make available the Complete Works of Ralph Waldo Emerson, with granular SEARCH capability; it is by far the largest collection on the Internet to date.   Of course there’s history on RWE’s life and influences during his time in Concord, Boston and places around the world.   The future will bring Emerson’s letters, sermons, articles by and about him and his most important journals.

Much more material will come as the funds become available. It’s really up to the users of the site to make that happen. The expenses of scanning, OCR transfer and uploading to the site are major investments. We hope that membership in the RWE Institute will grow as more and more people come to understand and appreciate the value of the site. We urge you to help make these additions possible by becoming a member at whatever level you can afford.

With Supporting Membership (all levels), you can submit news, articles and add events to the calendar for posting on (all submissions are moderated).  If you’re an educator or a RWE enthusiast, you can speak to the, more than 1,100 visitors that come to each day.

Also, in the INTERACT section of the site, you will find drop-down sections for participation in the site. WE invite members to  take part and to let us know what interests you most.

Membership gives you new navigation, list of all active Registrants, additional services that are coming online, but most of all you are helping the RWE Institute do the work it is trying to do–Use the words, life and inspirations of Ralph Waldo Emerson to create a conscience community of Thinking people.

We protect your privacy vigorously — no sharing of info.
