The Ralph Waldo Emerson Institute is pleased to offer an updated, membership-based home for The Complete Works of Ralph Waldo Emerson, America’s Founding Thinker.
With new navigation, new searches, and new offerings, RWE.org seeks to provide students, scholars and general readers access to all the material published in the Centenary Edition of The Complete Works. In the coming weeks and months, as new members join, we will be adding new material, including the Notes of the Centenary Edition and the complete Emerson Journals. As the great American critic Harold Bloom has said, “Emerson’s 55 years of journals are his authentic greatness.” Consider active membership and support the work of the RWE Institute.
