On September 2nd at 7:00pm, Dr. Richard Geldard will be giving a reading of his new book, Emerson and the Dream of America: Finding our Way to A New and Exceptional Age at Barnes & Noble on West 82nd Street in NYC.

Dr. Geldard has recently had his third article published in the Huffington Post. Take a look, this piece made the front page of the Politics section, In This Other America.

The Thoreau Institute at Walden Woods houses the collections of
the Ralph Waldo Emerson Society, which include monographs,
offprints, maps, and Society business records, as well as
handbooks, notes, and other items used by scholars in
preparing various editions of writings by Emerson.
Included in this collection are donations of the
Emerson Collections of scholars Ralph H.
Orth and Merton M. Sealts, Jr.
